STEPS ON HOW TO TRANSFER CREDIT ON MTN NETWORK - SHARE N SELL

Our previous article was on HOW TO TRANSFER MEGABYTES ON MTN NETWORK but in this article we will be considering how to transfer or share credit on the MTN Network.

 

This problem of transferring credit on MTN is not a new thing among MTN subscribers but it still a big problem considering the odds involved in the inability to share ypour credit with FAF who are in need. Lets move straight a head to see how we can possibly share or sell credit via transfer on MTN platform.

Unlike the other Networks, MTN has two different ways of transferring credits. Let's hurry and take a look at the various ways in which you can transfer credit on the Network.

HOW TO TRANSFER CREDIT ON MTN NETWORK - STEP 1

USING USSD Method to Share Credit:

This method of using USSD is similar to the method of loading the recharge voucher i.e using the asterisks(*) and the Hash(#) symbol.

What is Needed?

• Your mobile device and the amount you want to send/transfer
• Your old or default pin which is <0000>
• The recipient's number you wish to transfer to

Method for Transferring Credit:

1. Change your default pin <0000> to a custom PIN else MTN will never allow you to proceed. They are very security conscious.

How to Change Your MTN Transfer PIN?

Dial *601*old pin*new pin*new pin#
Practical example:
Dial *601*0000*4321*4321# and send.

Wait for some few seconds, a confirmation message from MTN will hit your phone. That's all.

HOW TO START SHARING/TRANSFERRING CREDITS

Let's assume that you have received the message of confirmation, then we will proceed;

On your device, type: *600*recipient's number*amount*pin#, and send.
If network is good you will receive a confirmation message from MTN instantly.


Practical Example:
*600*080346733xx*200*4321# and SEND. 
Note that we are assuming that the pin is 4321.

Remember that MTN doesnot place any additional Charge on you for Transferring Credit.

HOW TO TRANSFER CREDIT ON MTN - STEP 2

Lets assume that you've changed your in the previous step, then we should quickly go to the next step (2)

This method uses SMS;
Now, create a new message by typing the following and sending it to 777:

Transfer()phone no.()amount()pin. ()stands for space

Practical Example:
Transfer 080346733xx 200 4321, send to 777.

Creeate another message and type YES and send to 777.

It is good to note that while you are transferring credit on the MTN network that the minimum you can transfer is 50NGN.
